They often times phenomenally turn pink when the sun sets in the west. To the north sits the iconic Mount Blanca where 4 of 5 visible 14000 ft mountain peaks can be seen from this property. To the west are the San Luis Hills and the San Juan mountain range and to the south lies an ancient volcano, Ute Mountain.
